Beating the System

Dustin changed the engine oil/filters and water pump impellers on both motors today, in 96* heat I might add. While doing so, he found that one of the raw water pumps was leaking . He called the shipyard we're at and they quoted him $600 plus labor to replace it all. After some good ole YouTube and research online, Dustin figured out that it was just a bad seal and got the parts we needed for $12.50, bent some wire into a makeshift tool to extract the old seal, and now it is working good as new! Sometimes it pays to do a little research instead of just taking the word of a so-called "expert". Thank you Lord for keeping the blessings coming!
